This was a birthday cake requested by a wife for her fitness- oriented husband!

It's a vanilla cake with a layer of lemon filling and a layer of raspberry mousse.

Fall Cupcakes!

I had a little bit of batter left so I whipped up some cupcakes! YUM!

 

Hunting Cake!

This was a cake I baked for my cousin's birthday. It was a hunting theme party, so obviously the cake had to match!

It's a chocolate cake with chocolate icing. The leaves are gumpaste.

Music Cake

I made this cake for fun...I figure it's a nice size smash cake. I was trying a new icing technique called a frozen buttercream transfer...I still have some practicing to do!

The idea is cute though.

Happy Birthday Mario!

Mario turns 25 this year, and I was inspired to create a cake just for him! Of course, I didn't do as much with it as I would have liked, but here are the sides that I finished:

This is the more 'modern' Mario.

I wanted to do Mario Kart and Paper Mario, but alas, I have a 10 month old and I don't get enough time to do projects just for fun!
