Xbox 360 cake

Today I finished an xbox 360 cake. A wife wanted it for her husband for their 1st anniversary. It's chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream icing. Hope he likes it!!

Needless to say, I wanted to make my own birthday cake this year. I got some round cookie cutters and did this cute little design:

Chocolate cake for the ladies!

My son and I attend a play group every week. We take turns hosting at our houses. This is the cake I made when I hosted.

It's a chocolate cake with chocolate icing. The fondant is made from scratch; my first ever attempt at homemade fondant! It turned out great; everyone gobbled it right up!

First ever fondant cake!

This was the first cake I ever covered in fondant! I've been baking for awhile, but I never tried anything "fancy" until now! It's just a plain vanilla cake with buttercream icing. The calla lillies turned out alright, although I've gotten much better at forming them.
